Custom machines that didn't exist before

Many of our projects begin with a problem, not a drawing. We understand the technical challenge, develop a workable concept, and turn it into a reliable, manufacturable product — with the trade-offs made explicit.

How we build

From drawing to a machine that works

Every KOVACO machine goes through the same five steps under one roof in Veľká Lehota.
  1. 01

    Design

Every machine starts as a complete 3D model: load-bearing structure, kinematics and drives designed as one system, strength and performance calculated before anything is cut.

  2. 02

    Cutting

Laser and plasma cutting of every plate and profile in our own hall, from the same model the machine was designed in.

  3. 03

    Machining

CNC machining of the slewing rings, shafts, mounts and fits that decide how precisely a positioner turns or an attachment locks on.

  4. 04

    Welding and assembly

Certified welding, then hydraulics, drives and electrics assembled by the people who answer for the machine afterwards.

  5. 05

    Testing and documentation

New designs are proven in our prototype and test workshop; every machine leaves with complete, controlled technical documentation.

FAQ

Questions about custom development

How does a custom machine project with KOVACO start?

Many of our projects begin with a problem, not a drawing. We understand the technical challenge, develop a workable concept, and turn it into a reliable, manufacturable product — with the trade-offs made explicit. The same pre-production workflow we used for our own machines, applied to your project.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

Reply within 48 hours. Your inquiry is read by an engineer, not a sales script. We confirm the configuration. Weldment or carrier, mounting, hydraulics and options, together on a short call. Quote with delivery time. Price, lead time and what is included, in writing.
